The purpose of Mother of Divine Grace's Board of Limited Jurisdiction is to support and promote our school’s mission. The Board shall assist in governance of the school by participating in the policy making process by formulating, adapting, and enacting policy. The Board’s clear focus will be to provide leadership for the long-term growth and sustainability of our school and to ensure it has a vibrant future and remains true to our Roman Catholic faith values.
Through the work of their committees, the BLJ manages the following areas: Finance, Enrollment, Development, Facilities, and Board Membership. They do NOT oversee curriculum, personnel, or student issues.

Megan is an attorney who has been practicing law in Philadelphia for almost 15 years. She is a resident of Port Richmond along with her husband, two children and two adopted dogs. Megan attended Our Lady Help of Christians Grade School and Nazareth Academy High School. She also attended LaSalle University where she earned a degree in Environmental Science and then earned a J.D. at Widener University School of Law.
Patrice Bertotto Board Secretary
An educator in the public school system for 21 years, Patrice Bertotto (Malkowski) attended Saint Anne’s School (‘90), John W. Hallahan (‘94), and La Salle University (‘98) where she earned a BA in Elementary and Special Education. She then began teaching in Springfield School District, Delaware County, in a special education position. It became apparent to her that her passion lies in educating children from the inner city. After earning her MA from Villanova University (‘02) in Elementary Education, she began teaching in Philadelphia. She also completed a Principal Certification Program at Cabrini College (‘06). She holds five Pennsylvania teaching certifications and currently teaches seventh and eighth grade English Language Arts at James R Ludlow Elementary School in the Yorktown section of Philadelphia. In 2017 she married Niki Bertotto, a life-long Riverwards resident, and they currently reside in Fishtown.
Sister Patricia Mengel, IHM, M.A.
As an educator and a member of the IHM Community, Sister Pat has served in the Dioceses of Allentown, Camden, and Philadelphia for more than 40 years. Her training at the Graduate level includes degrees from Immaculata University and Chestnut Hill College, where she currently teaches Psychology and Religious studies in the School of Continued and Professional Studies. Pat serves as a Trustee for the Board of Immaculata University and is a member of Spiritual Directors International and the American Counseling Association. She resides in the Faculty House on the campus of Cardinal O’Hara High School, Springfield.
Tina Poley
Tina is a lifelong resident of Port Richmond. She attended Our Lady Help of Christians, Nazareth Academy, and The Catholic University of America. TinaTina is a Lead Clinical Data Coordinator at ERT a global data and technology company, for 16 years. During her time at ERT she has volunteered with their Outreach Committee at the Ronald McDonald House.Tina enjoys traveling, volunteering, and spending time with her niece and nephews.
